The Black Cat (1895-1922) was a monthly literary magazine, publishing original short stories, often about uncanny or fantastical topics. Many writers were largely unknown, but some famous authors also wrote original material for this magazine.
This is the 10th issue of Volume 3 with 5 new stories:
> Flicker Brown's Fourth, by Sewell Ford: an ingenious plan to celebrate the 4th of July with plenty of spectators
> "Only a Mistake", by Clarence Maiko: a bad conscience can drive one mad
> The Hold-Up Near Badger's Bar, by Edmund Stuart Roche: how to proceed when you realize you're not the victim but the criminal ?
> Little Miss Spuds, by Ward P. Winchell, U.S.N.: a baby stow-away brings out the soft side of hardened sailors
> A Model Revolution, by W. MacPherson and Sewell Ford: finding a loophole in the system to win a blood-free revolution
