For your consideration: an English physician and a Russian research scientist jointly develop a bacillus that transforms disease causing germs into benign microorganisms effectively eliminating death by natural cause. Hence, mankind's age old dream of immortality is about to become reality. In an era that predates international regimens governing the introduction of such a miracle their only concern is potential interference by reactionary politicians opposed to practically anything that might be considered revolutionary. The well-intentioned inventors take matters into their own hands, gifting mankind with their extraordinary boon, by spreading the bacillus globally beginning with the water supply in England. The result might be utopian or dystopian or something betwixt those extremes. Lets find out! - Summary by Brian Fullen
