The book is a sequel to ‘Simon called Peter’ by the same author. It picks up the separate stories of Peter and Julie, at first in South Africa and later in England. Both their lives change in completely different ways, and we follow their paths through their lives to conclusions perhaps at best only half-expected by what has gone before. (Summary by Simon Evers)
